Pleasant, captivating comedian and character actor who came late to the big screen, but enjoyed a stint of super-stardom in the late 80s and early 90s through a series of fine comedic performances and through his two turns as Batman in Tim Burton's films. Keaton can hardly be claimed to have the widest dramatic range, but his natural, sweet and gentle every-guy quality has given him both a stint of good roles and critical acclaim.
