BIO

Highly talented actress, screenwriter and producer of Norwegian descent who rose to prominence alongside fellow Georgetown University graduates Mike Cahill and Zal Batmanglij, both of whom directed her in 2011 in films she co-wrote and co-produced: Another Earth and Sound of My Voice, respectively. Both films were selected to screen at Robert Redford's Sundance Festival, and Another Earth in particular became one of the breakout films of the year. Following this, Marling appeared in several higher-profile productions, including Arbitrage and the Redford directed The Company You Keep. She also reunited with Batmanglij for The East in 2013 and with Cahill for I Origins in 2014.
