Tuesday Weld
FILMOGRAPHY (ONLY REVIEWED ENTRIES)
Tuesday Weld rose to prominence as a teen actress in the mid-1950s, often cast as a troubled, precocious, or kittenesque girls. With an expressive, unpredictable intensity, she became a cult favourite throughout the 1960s and '70s, frequently choosing unconventional roles over commercial ones. Never quite a mainstream icon, Weld nonetheless left a lasting imprint through films like The Cincinnati Kid, Play It as It Lays, and Looking for Mr. Goodbar. The final years of her career were unremarkable, and she retired from acting altogether in 2001.
