BIO

Michael Douglas' Hollywood career has spanned several eras, associations and public images. First making his mark as a producer of highly successful and critically-acclaimed movies in 1970s, and winning an Oscar for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, he then matured into a romantic lead during the 1980s before appearing in several erotic thrillers during the 1990s. Douglas' has perhaps received the most acclaim as an actor in his later years, not least as Liberace in the biopic Behind the Candelabra.
