Review
This
is a well-executed and well-written Norwegian revamp of the classic
disaster genre, complete with all the familiar elements. Aficionados
won't find many surprises in here, but that doesn't mean they won't
find excitement and suspense, because the film has a potent build-up
which makes the inevitable feel more real and palpable. There's also
quite a bit of interesting stuff in here from a scientific point of
view, even if all that of course is adjusted for the big-screen. The
performances are uneven, but work well at their best – even if there
are some awkward moments in a flooding basement towards the end.
