Review
Slight and disappointing romance which
attempts to portray love between Gen Xers. Writer/director Stacy Cochran gets
fine performances from two of the leading proponents for this generation: the
sensitive, delicate Winona Ryder and the expressive Lukas Haas. There's
chemistry between the two leads, but they're not helped much by Cochran's
script, which has its share of silliness, such as the implausible tension
between Haas' school-mates and the inexplicable mystique surrounding James LeGros
and Skeet Ulrich. Better luck next time.
