Review

Herbert Ross’ final film was this sweet 1995 entry about female bonding across age groups, sexual orientations and ethnicities. Ross treats his characters as real human beings, and the film has a lot more in store than what the rather cheesy opening would suggest. The script itself may not be remarkable, but the film is full of touching scenes which ring true and make an impression.
