Review
Claustrophobic, one-location thriller in the mould of
Buried,
or Alfred Hitchcock's TV episode "Final Escape" if you want to be a
little more historic. Stephen Dorff gives it his all in a convincing
lead-performance which helps keep this interesting for probably
longer than the plot warrants. The plot is something about terrorism
and Secret Service agents which may or may not hold water, but with
a twist-ending as contrived as this one, the chilling feeling is
soon replaced by the realisation that the whole preceding story is
negated by it. It's all about that effect for director Gabe Torres,
who on his way there does a fine job artistically speaking.
