Review

A group of people find themselves standing in a dark room, not knowing how they got there, and soon discovering that at regular intervals, one of them drops dead. But why? And how? And by which set of rules? This is certainly a very contrived setup, but the filmmakers Aaron Hann and Mario Miscione somehow make the concept fascinating and mystifying enough to keep you watching. There are a few moments of really clever writing and inspired psychological insights… And other moments of bad acting and hackneyed, rushed solutions.
