Review

Whoopi Goldberg is the only slightly redeeming quality in this moronic sports comedy. Faux basketball action and abundances of stereotypes ensue, like the Russian Ivan (a too obvious nod to Dolph Lundgren's character in Rocky IV). Ex-Dracula Frank Langella's character is no better. This is a boring, non-funny comedy which can easily be replaced with three episodes of any generic sitcom.
