Review
You might have thought the yeti-ish
killer from
Fritt vilt was disposed of when Ingrid Bolsø Berdal planted
an ice axe through his chest and sent him down into the crevasse, but in
this sequel he reappears in soap-opera fashion to reek more havoc in the
Norwegian mountains - this time in the local hospital.
With that said, both the awakening and
the subsequent little plot developments are quite clever. Because
although this series (as it has now become) is as genre-bound as the
next horror film series, the films - including this one - retains a
welcoming freshness to them - amidst the deranged, seemingly unmotivated
lone killer, the screaming young ladies, the creaking doors and secluded
houses. And of course, a little female power does the trick in the end.
