Review

The charm offensive Jerry Maguire is so criminally cute that it's at the same time almost impossible to dislike and almost impossible to like. Tom Cruise put all of his charm and elbow grease into the role as the idealistic sports agent Jerry Maguire, and was rewarded with an Academy Award nomination and another mega success at the box office, which consolidated his position as the leading movie star of the 1990s. If you're in for some emotional manipulation and some to-be-iconic feel-good-moments, this film is a perfect choice.
