Review
Run-of-the-mill story about a research team on Mars and their
encounter with ... well, you know what. The good thing here is that
the performers actually are giving this a real go, especially Liev
Schreiber, Elias Koteas and Olivia Williams, but the sad thing is
that the filmmakers are a little bit too desperate to get rid of
them. And as you know, it's never a good idea to rid yourself of the
only good thing your film has going for it. By the half-way line,
The Last Days on Mars has gone from semi-interesting to
completely numbing, and unless this is the very first film about
these thematics you've ever seen, there's really not much point
going on.
