Review
Meet the Parents
is a noisy and exhausting comedy about highly familiar and quite interesting
material: the first encounter with your in-laws. It is a movie with a
considerable amount of good points, and Robert De Niro is inspired and
well-cast in the lead, but despite a number of laughs and a charming
cast, Jay Roach's fast-paced directing proves too insensitive and brutish; he'll
probably wear you out long before the end.
