Review
Al
Pacino gives a somewhat caricatured performance as Penn State
football coach Joe Paterno who finds himself between a rock and a
hard place when one of his assistant coaches is arrested for
sexually abusing several of his players. The film offers interesting
insights into the case, but is more often than not scratching the
surface, and the askew focal point amidst the scandal (Paterno
rather than any of the other implicated parties) leaves you wanting
at best or annoyed at worst.
