Review
Despite Edward Snowden's uniqueness, this biographical film from
Oliver Stone has become somewhat characterless. Stone's direction is
a bit too much about going through the motions; the once radical director who viewed things from his own
perspective is nowhere to be seen here. That being said, the story is factual and treated with
dignity, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt makes for a good Snowden,
especially in the more dramatically challenging scenes.
