Review
George Lucas' fable is like a child's
imagination in many ways; there are endless ideas and connections which
are not necessarily all that interesting. But Lucas' compelling visuals
help create a highly atmospheric picture. Some brilliant segments of old
fashioned adventure cover up a sometimes pulp and pretentious
narrative.
