Review

Hyperbolic and not very clever film about a high-schooler who goes head to head against a group of terrorists. It's the same old story, with an insipid message and minimal creativity – a great example of Hollywood's assembly line filmmaking. Lead actor Corey Haim, who is well on his way to B-movie stardom, delivers a performance mostly based on energy. If the film and the cast keep the pace up, perhaps we won't notice the cliches and shortcomings? Oh, but we do. This one is merely for entertainment purposes, for those who are easily entertained.
