Corey Haim
FILMOGRAPHY (ONLY REVIEWED ENTRIES)
This once precocious, sensitive juvenile performer first came to prominence with his delightful title role in David Seltzer's Lucas (1986). From then on, Haim slowly worked his way into budding superstardom as Hollywood's cutest little hearthrob. After a few notable successes, most of his films from the early 1990s and on were dim-witted, senseless action-comedies, but he did still once in a while turn in a fine performance in which his not unconsiderable dramatic talent was displayed (such as in Oh, What a Night). However, after growing out of the youth-roles, Haim had trouble finding work in the film business, and by the late 1990s he had to file for bankrupcy after amassing debts of over $100,000. Haim died of a drug overdose in March 2010.
