Review
Surprisingly solid futuristic drama
about a society which has been taken over by
The Rollerboys,
a group of rollerskating youngsters who get
high on a drug called "mist".
Chris Griffin (Corey Haim) has a run-in with the law and offers to
infiltrate the elite group. An intelligent angle and a pleasant absence of
moralism and bombastic conclusions keep this film open and interesting. There's
definitely a message baked in here – more humanity, less indifference – with
which it's hard to disagree. With agreeable special effects and performances.
