Everyone Says I Love You (1996)
Woody Allen tries to charm his way to our hearts with this tribute to studio era musicals. As usual, he has attracted an impressive bunch of charismatic performers, who are led through abundances of intrigues and romantic relations on wonderful locations around the world, but their revelling in and praise for love (with a big L, mind you) remains rather flat and empty. The musical numbers give us a few fascinating moments and work as an excuse for Allen's self-absorbed, Hollywoodized view on romance.
