Review
This
British cross between
American Pie and
The Hangover
is about a quartet of (for various reasons) awkward teenagers who go
to Malia, Crete to drink and get laid – under the excuse of
celebrating finishing their A-levels. It's a low-brow tribute to /
parody of teen testosterone and North-Western European drinking
culture looking to score laughs through viewer-identification, which
it does to some degree if you're in the mood for it and/or have the
right frame of reference. The plot is equal parts predictable and
lame, however, so once you tire of the jokes – which most likely
will happen very early – there's not much else to base a movie on.
