Kritikk

Tough, sympathetic, sarcastic and reasonably clever The Rock is a full-fledged action-flick anno 1996. As directed by Michael Bay (Bad Boys) and produced by the team of Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer (Beverly Hills Cop, Top Gun), the film is just as smart as it has to be in order to work within the realm it creates. And with Nicolas Cage's atypical action-hero, plus Ed Harris and Sean Connery adding zest and star-power opposite him, the film also has its own take on the fine line between morality and immorality. The Rock is a fine perfect summer blockbuster.
