Joseph Cotten
FILMOGRAPHY (ONLY REVIEWED ENTRIES )
This tall, ruggedly handsome, arrogant-looking lead appeared in some of the most celebrated American films of the 1940s. He was quoted as saying that he didn't really care about the film business, but that he joined because "I was tall, I could talk, it was easy to do". After breaking through in friend Orson Welles' Citizen Kane, Cotten went on to score a number of successesover the next couple of decades. Towards the end of his career, Cotten found himself appearing in an increasing number of low-budget foreign (notably Italian) films.
