Gard B. Eidsvold
ACTOR FILMOGRAPHY (ONLY REVIEWED ENTRIES)
Remarkably talented performer of theatre and film who is equally apt in periodic romance as in contemporary comedy or heavy drama. After making a name for himself in a handful of early-1990s films, notably under the guidance of Hans Petter Moland (Secondløitnanten, Kjærlighetens kjøtere), Eidsvold was hailed as the future of Norwegian acting and was seen in a number of lead roles on stage, notably Hamsun's "Sult" opposite his brother Eindride. Eidsvold's natural presence in front of the camera coupled with his characteristic, bug-eyed appearance has made him a favourite amongst critics and audiences alike.
