Sverre Anker Ousdal

Norwegian veteran performer of stage, screen and television who during his more than 40 year long career has exhibited an impressive diversity and a remarkable endurance. Known for his distinct voice, Ousdal profits from authortative line delivery which he combines with a fine blend of warmth and rigour. His perhaps best performance came in 1996 when he portrayed the infamous Norwegian WWII traitor Vidkun Quisling in Jan Troell's Hamsun. Ousdal is the father of actor Mads Ousdal.
