BIO

The fragile, tender-voiced, and beautiful Mary Steenburgen is Hollywood's answer to Kate Bush. Incidentally, she also broke through around the same time – and with the same bravura – as the British singer, with her fine Oscar-winning performance in Melvin and Howard (1980). Versatile and prolific, she has been married to one of Britain's most popular film psychos (Malcolm McDowell) and one of America's most beloved bartenders (Ted Danson). She has two children with the former.
