Robert Forster
ACTOR FILMOGRAPHY (REVIEWED ENTRIES ONLY)
This intelligent, talented and strikingly handsome leading man and character actor struggled to find enough good parts in the early decades of his career, despite acclaimed performances in his first two films, Reflections in a Golden Eye (opposite Elizabeth Taylor) and The Stalking Moon. In the 1980s and early 1990s he played mostly in B-movies, before Quentin Tarantino gave him a well-earned renaissance through casting him in Jackie Brown. After that, Forster was remarkably prolific and delivered a number of fine performances in critically acclaimed films right up until his death from brain cancer in 2019.
