Very talented, soft-faced character actor who made his debut in the mid-80's but came fairly late to prominence in Hollywood. His breakthrough movie was Glengarry Glen Ross opposite Al Pacino and Jack Lemmon and as the nineties grew older, Spacey's roles turned increasingly interesting and in the year 1995, Spacey went from acknowledged character actor to one of the hottest prospects around with great performances in the hits Seven and The Usual Suspects. Since then, Spacey has commended leading roles and has been successful at it, notably in American Beauty.
