Russell Crowe
FILMOGRAPHY (ONLY REVIEWED ENTRIES)
A forceful and ruggedly handsome leading-man of the late 1990s and 2000s, who made his international breakthrough with the award-winning Australian feature Romper Stomper in 1992, before going to Hollywood to deliver a string of critically acclaimed performances, culminating in his Academy Award-nominated turn as John Nash in A Beautiful Mind in 2001. He had already won the award the year before for his work in Ridley Scott's Gladiator, and subsequently, he appeared in a number of other Ridley Scott films, seemingly losing his edge in the process.
