I didn't much fancy this beautiful and cabable actress early on in her career, but both her looks and performances are like good wine - improving with the years. Kidman seemed to get a rejuvenation after her break-up with Tom Cruise - a much publicized relationship that for some reason held her career back. Since then, she received back-to-back Oscar-nominations for Moulin Rouge! and The Hours (and won for the latter) and has enjoyed commercial and critical success for her work in films such as The Others and Cold Mountain.
