BIO

Offbeat, handsome lead and character actor mostly found in comedies and drama. Cusack, who first came to prominence among the original brat-packers, crept almost unnoticed from supporting roles in 1980s teen-movies into to lead parts in more serious films in the 1990s. His career peaked around the turn of the millennium with several critical and commercial successes, such as Being John Malkovich and High Fidelity. His deadpan comic delivery often belied more complex characters underneath. His sister is the quirky character acress Joan Cusack.
